Further an improvement on the reading skill , any body can help me? because i am anxious about how to skim / scan the academic reading passages as fast as i can .

ReplyDeleteSkimming and scanning are just fancy words meaning being able to read quickly to get the overall idea (skimming) and reading quickly to pick out specific information (scanning). The most effective way of improving your reading speed and reading skill is to read as much as possible. One suggestion is to pick a news article, set your self a time limit then turn the article over and try to summarise it (again - give yourself a time limit). Any other ideas from anyone else?
